Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Fixtures Labs LLC ("Fixtures Labs," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the CocktailSnap Android application (the "App").

CocktailSnap does not contain third-party advertising and does not use AdMob. You do not need to create an account to use the App. CocktailSnap does, however, send photos you choose to scan to our servers and AI service providers so it can identify ingredients and suggest cocktails. Those providers may retain scan data under their own policies, and Fixtures Labs cannot guarantee deletion from provider systems.

Information we process

The App does not request precise or approximate location permission, does not use an advertising identifier for ads, and does not use your information for third-party advertising or marketing.

How we use information

We process information to:

Photo processing and AI providers

Submitted photos are transmitted over HTTPS to our Amazon Web Services (AWS)-hosted backend. The backend validates each photo and sends it inline as part of a request to Ramp Router or, when a fallback is needed, OpenRouter, together with the AI model provider selected for the scan. New scans do not create an S3 image object or a separate image URL, and we do not intentionally retain newly submitted photos in our own persistent image storage after processing the request.

Ramp Router and OpenRouter may route a request to different model providers based on availability. These routing services and the underlying model providers may process or retain image inputs, scan outputs, and related metadata under their own policies. Ramp Router states that it stores model inputs, outputs, and metadata and may use them to improve its service unless that use is disabled in the Router account settings. Processing locations, retention periods, and model-training practices may vary by provider. Fixtures Labs does not control provider retention and generally cannot identify or delete a completed scan from provider systems. Some photos uploaded under CocktailSnap's previous architecture may remain in legacy S3 storage until their applicable lifecycle or our cleanup process deletes them. That legacy storage is not used for new scans under the direct-processing architecture.

Do not submit photos containing people, personal documents, addresses, payment information, or other sensitive information.

Service providers

We use the following providers to operate CocktailSnap:

These providers process information on our behalf or as independent service providers under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information.

Retention

Security

CocktailSnap uses HTTPS to transmit scans to our backend and AI service providers. No method of transmission, processing, or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and deletion requests

You can cancel a scan before submitting it. You can remove favorites individually, clear the App's local storage in Android settings, or uninstall the App to remove locally stored data and stop future collection.

To request deletion of a legacy submitted image or other information we can reasonably identify, email [email protected]. Because CocktailSnap has no user accounts and does not retain new photos in its own persistent image storage, we generally cannot locate a completed new scan after processing or delete copies retained by AI routing services or model providers. For a legacy image, include the approximate date and time of the scan if available; we may ask for the original image to derive its storage identifier. Do not email a sensitive image unless we request it. We may not be able to locate a scan without enough matching information, and we may retain information when required by law or where a limited record is necessary to protect the service.

Children

CocktailSnap is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Cocktail-related content should be used only in accordance with applicable legal drinking-age requirements. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where possible.

International processing

We and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries, which may have different data-protection laws from your country.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when CocktailSnap or its service providers change. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the date above.
